"I stopped at Mavrix several times through the winter to check out a new Africa Twin and met Tom on the first stop. Tom was like talking with one of my long time racing buddies and I can't say enough about his knowledge of HONDA motorcycles. I finally had a test ride (which doesn't happen at most dealers)on the new Africa Twin this spring, and WOW! The test ride AT model had the new DCT transmission, which I told Tom I would never buy but I really wanted to try it. I was so impressed with the DCT that after 45 years of riding HONDA Motorcycles with standard shift, I now own a new Africa Twin with the DCT! There is always a full menu of bikes and goodies on hand to fill your needs. This time we started with a visit to see a 2017 Rebel 300 which unfortunately wasn't released yet. After some friendly conversation, we left our name & number for when one comes in. A few weeks later Tom called the house informing that the first Rebel was just received. We went up the next day and my wife fell in love with the bike. After short consideration, the sale had begun. Tom was very friendly and professional. We met the owner, Jim, (who I had spoken several times on previous visits) who is an absolute gentleman. He was quite friendly and spent some time with us. On to Donna, the F&I girl. This girl is a prize! Our deal went quickly and smoothly. We talked and laughed the whole time. It was more like hanging out with friends rather than buying a motorcycle. Two days later (at our request) we took delivery. Bike was ready just as promised. The showroom was filled with wandering customers. We worked our way over to the accessory area and picked up a helmet and glasses too. A quick sale, assisted by Donna, with a "buy a new bike discount" and we were out the door. Some delivery instructions by Tom and we were off. This is really a nice dealership. They have a bit of everything. Power equipment too. You could spend hours in this place just looking around.
